"Dr. Seuss' ABC" is like a book for your iPhone. You can choose whether or not you want it narrated (by a melodic female voice), and kids can "turn" the pages by swiping their fingers across the screen, which makes a satisfying papery sound effect. Kids can also touch images on the screen which will identify the words.
My daughter enjoys playing with this App and I even hear her sounding out the sound that each letter makes, so I feel like she is definitely deriving some education from it. It's a cute, clever app, and I wish there were more books-on-iPhone like it!
