Well, the Internet makes this unlikely scenario possible – and we’re going to take full advantage of it. Gather the kids and power up the computer, we’re dropping in on Buckingham Palace for a royal scavenger hunt!
Premise:
You are ruler of an online kingdom called Virtualia. England can’t stand your county because you have a funnier court jester than they do. Recently, England captured your jester and is holding him captive in return for a fortune. You have a great plan, though. You’re going to sneak into the Queen of England’s royal palace, grab some of her priceless decorations, and sell them back to her in return for your jester!
How to Play:
The object of the game is to locate all of the listed items. This can be done by taking a VIRTUAL TOUR OF BUCKINGHAM PALACE. Once at this web page you will see five clearly marked links, each one leading to a different room in Buckingham Palace. Each room is presented in a 360 degree panoramic view. Just move your mouse to virtually move around the room and try to find as many of the following decorations as you can:
- Perseus holding up the Medusa’s head
- A winged lion chimera (a fantastic creature)
- A golden stork
- Pan, the Satyr
- A powder horn
- A coat of arms
- A royal marching drum
- An antique clock with a golden eagle on top
- A painting with a royal crown in it
After you’re finished looking for the items, move on to the next part of the scavenger hunt - Identify the Loot - to learn about all the goodies that you’ve collected. The stuff is worth millions!
