Popup blockers are useful for avoiding unwanted ads and windows that might slow down your computer. But some legitimate websites use popup windows to display forms or important information. Use these steps to permanently or temporarily disable the Mozilla Firefox popup blocker for a particular website.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 1 minute

Here's How:

  1. Go to the Tools menu and click on "Options"
  2. Click on "Content"
  3. To disable all popups:
    • Uncheck the "Block pop-up windows" box.
  4. To disable popups on just one site:
    • Click on "Exceptions"
    • Enter the URL of the site for which you would like to allow popups
    • Close the window
  5. Click "Ok"

Tips:

  1. If you grant popups for a site and want to remove them later:
    • Follow the steps above to Step 4
    • Click on the url to block in the list of sites
    • Click on "Remove Site"
    • Close the window
