Reader's Choice nominations for the 2010 Best Virtual World for Kids included worlds with monkeys, dinosaurs, pandas, historical characters, robots, penguins, dogs, bears, cats and more. Parents and kids visited in droves to share why their virtual world was the best. With nearly 40 sites in the running the competition was fierce. The top 5 in this category were selected largely based on the number of nominations received.
