Christy MatteChristy Matte is a die-hard techie and enjoys video games, surfing the web, and any gadget she can get her hands on. Experience:Christy has a passion for informal education environments, children, and lifelong learning. Since her early days of programming on an Apple IIe, she has taught computer classes to both adults and children on 3 continents. A self-described computer generalist, Christy has done programming, networking, and tech support on both Macs and PCs. Even so, you're more likely to find her tinkering with creative software or playing a video game than mucking about with hardware and code. She has been online since the inception of the World Wide Web and operates her own domain which hosts several websites and blogs. She spends far too much time online. Education:Christy holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She also has a Master's Degree in Technology in Education from Lesley University. She is an active lifelong learner. From Christy Matte:As the mother of two young children, I know how challenging it can be to juggle all the aspects of work and personal life. Your computer should make your life easier. I'm here to help you get up and running, find the best tools for saving time at home, and locate software and websites that are appropriate and safe for your children. I'll even help you share photos and information with family and friends across the globe. Find out more About Us: Our Story |
