Apple Camp: Free Multi-media Workshops for Kids

Friday May 22, 2009

Summer camp can be a lot of fun, but not all families can afford to attend. In addition, the time may conflict with other commitments. Apple has a pretty nice solution for those of you who want fun activities but don't have the time or money to commit to something long-term. It's called Apple Camp.

Each Apple Retail store will be hosting a series of 3-hour workshops for kids 8-12 years old. Your kids can learn how to make a movie, record music, enhance digital photos and even create an entire multi-media presentation.

Not only are the workshops free, but Apple will provide all of the technology needed to get the job done. Of course, if you've got your own Apple notebook at home, you can bring that along instead.
