Redefining Motherhood
The first in my list of 10 Great Mom Blogs is So Much More Than A Mom. Cyndi gets cool points simply for the name, which happens to be very similar to my personal blog. But this blog is wonderful even without a cool name.
Cyndi acknowledges something that most women won't. Namely that being a mom isn't always enough. Some of us want and need more. I love her candid writing style and that she has no problem sharing the type of guy she'd date if she weren't married. She confesses her hatred of Mother's Day and her plan to spend the weekend doing what she wants to do, rather than what she's expected to do. And, she does it all with engaging writing and a strong sense of humor.
