My Sweet Babboo - Relishing Motherhood
If you get the "My Sweet Babboo" reference, than you'll be able to imagine Abby's blog of the same name. If not, I'll remind you that Charlie Brown's little sister Sally has a complete and total adoration for Linus, even when he doesn't notice her. It's a bad dynamic in a relationship, but a necessary trait in a parent.
In between posts about her adorable son, Linus, Abby shares her super-cute strawberry Valentine's Day cookies and a recipe for edible finger paint. I mean, who lets their toddler finger paint? Not me, that's who.
Just when you start to get a complex about your parenting skills, Abby lets you off the hook. She admits that she is starting to crave silence. Oh, and then there was the poopy diaper disaster. And we're back on familiar parenting ground.
What I like best about My Sweet Babboo is that it celebrates everything that is magical about childhood, and then gently reminds us that it's also ok when things don't go as planned.
